Since the Covid-19 outbreak we have been contacted by a number of people who claim to have valid Business Interruption policies with RSA Insurance that have not been paid out.
We are helping companies to get free legal advice to ascertain if they do have a claim and, if so, how strong it is.
If the advice is that they do have a valid claim we are helping to create multi-party legal actions to be brought against the insurer. The law firm will discuss a range of potential funding options and consider whether it is possible to take on the claim under a conditional fee agreement, also known as a no win, no fee agreement.
With RSA Insurance one area of particular interest is holiday home rental businesses that have insurance under a policy called Cottagesure.
As well as helping to create class actions we are also able to match individual clients with law firms and barristers on an individual basis.
Insurance Injustice is keen to hear from any business that believes it has a valid Business Interruption claim against RSA Insurance in the light of the Covid-19 outbreak.
